Built for trust at every step.
ID verification, insurance proof, background checks, secure payments, address gating, and a real moderation team. Here's exactly how PrimeTurn protects every property owner, contractor and realtor.
How we protect you
Eight layers of trust
ID-verified contractors
Every contractor uploads a government ID and live selfie. Our review team manually approves matches, with optional AI face-match scoring as a second signal.
Insurance & licensing on file
Pros submit proof of insurance and applicable licenses with expiration dates tracked. Badges automatically downgrade when documents lapse.
Background-check option
Contractors can opt into a background check; passing pros earn a Background Cleared badge visible on every job they bid on.
Approved before bidding
Bids are gated by an active subscription AND verification status. Anonymous accounts cannot bid on or message about live jobs.
Secure payments via Stripe
Subscriptions and any future payouts run through Stripe. Card data never touches PrimeTurn servers.
Address gating
Full property addresses are revealed only to the awarded contractor and the property owner — never to losing bidders or the public.
On-platform messaging
Chat is restricted to the property owner and the awarded contractor. We never sell, share or scrape your contact info.
Disputes & admin review
Either side can open a dispute on a job. Our moderation team can review messages, freeze payments, suspend accounts, and remove listings.
The verification process
From sign-up to verified pro
Most contractors are fully verified within 24 hours. Here's exactly what happens — and what's enforced at the database level.
- 01
Sign up & confirm email
Free account. We require a verified email — no anonymous sign-ups.
- 02
Submit verification documents
Government ID, live selfie, insurance certificate. Reviewed within 24 hours by our team.
- 03
Earn your trust badges
ID Verified, Insured, Background Cleared and Featured badges appear automatically as eligibility is met.
- 04
Subscribe to start bidding
An active contractor subscription is required to submit bids — and our RLS policies enforce this at the database level.

When something goes wrong
How disputes work
Open the dispute
Either party on an awarded job can file a dispute with one of six categories: payment, quality, no-show, communication, scope, or other.
Admin review
Our moderation team reviews messages, attached evidence and job context. Both sides get a chance to respond.
Resolution
Outcomes range from refunded subscriptions to account suspensions or bans. Resolution notes are recorded on the dispute record.
Need help with a job that's already in flight?
Contact SupportTrust isn't a tagline.
It's enforced in our database, in our review process, and in every job posted on the platform.
