How do I know what step I'm on?

Your dashboard shows an onboarding progress card with 6 steps: Account → Profile → Photo → Verify → Subscribe → Bid. Each step has a 'Continue' button that takes you directly to the next required action.

I paid but my account still says Free — what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Go to Account → Self-Service Center and click 'Refresh Subscription'. This forces an immediate sync with Stripe (both Live and Sandbox) and will restore your paid access if payment was confirmed. If it still shows Free after refresh, contact support with your payment confirmation email.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account → Self-Service Center and click 'Cancel Subscription'. You'll be taken directly to Stripe's cancellation confirmation. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

What does the $29/month contractor subscription include?

Full access to the job board, unlimited bids, priority matching in early waves, contractor profile visibility, direct messaging with property owners, and in-app support.

When does my subscription renew?

Accepted Answer

Subscriptions renew monthly on the same day you subscribed. You can see your renewal date and manage billing in Account → Self-Service Center → Refresh Subscription.

My payment failed. What happens next?

Accepted Answer

Stripe automatically retries failed payments up to 3 times over about a week. Your access continues during retries (past_due status). Update your card in the billing portal to avoid any interruption.

What is a Founding Member?

Founding Members were the first contractors to join PrimeTurn. You get lifetime locked pricing, permanent Pro tier access, a Founding Member badge on your profile, and priority matching. Your rate never increases as long as your subscription stays active.

I'm a Founding Member but the app says I'm Free — help!

This is almost always a sync delay. Open Account → Self-Service Center → Refresh Subscription. This runs a full Stripe reconciliation and restores your Founding Member Pro access immediately if payment is confirmed. If it doesn't fix it within 30 seconds, contact support and reference 'Founding Member sync' — we treat this as top-priority.

Will my Founding Member price ever change?

Accepted Answer

No. Founding Member pricing is locked for the life of your active subscription. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you'd resubscribe at the current public rate.

Property owners need to trust that contractors on PrimeTurn are real, insured professionals. Verification protects everyone and is required before you can bid on jobs.

What ID formats are accepted?

Government-issued photo ID: driver's license, state ID, or passport. Upload JPG, PNG, or HEIC files up to 10MB. Make sure all four corners are visible and text is readable.
